Trades:
Buffalo moves to 6 by giving Washington the 1(12) and 2(43)
Washington gets the 18 by giving Cincinatti 2(43), a 2008 2nd rounder and Shawn Springs
Cincinatti gets the 25, 3(89), and 4(164) by giving NY Jets the 2(42) and 2(49)
1. Oakland - Calvin Johnson, WR, GT
If anything, the pot admission raises his stock in Oakland.
2. Detroit - Brady Quinn, QB, ND
With CJ off the board, suddenly the trade offers for the 2 disappear and Detroit takes who they wanted all along.
3. Cleveland - Jamarcus Russell, QB, LSU
Hopefully his doc knows how to deal with a staff infection.
4. Tampa Bay - Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson
Chucky's hoping that his laid back attitude is unrelated to the pot. With Rice likely on the way out, TB has to replace the QB pressure.
5. Arizona - Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin
As close to a no-brainer as there's ever been in the draft.
6. Buffalo (from Washington) - Adrian Peterson, RB, OU
Buffalo knows that AP won't fall to them at 12 and they need to replace McGahee somehow.
7. Minnesota - Darrelle Revis, CB, Pitt
DE is a need here, but Revis had great workouts and they need some help in the secondary.
8. Atlanta - Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
AP was their target, but Levy outsmarted McKay (did i really just type that??) so Petrino takes his kid.
9. Miami - Patrick Willis, LB, Ole Miss
That defense is getting old across the board. The boy from White Deer still racks up tackles, but he's got a lot of wear on those tires. Willis will get the chance to learn from one of the best.
10. Houston - Laron Landry, S, LSU
Houston still has so many holes that they should just go Best Player available the entire draft.
11. San Francisco - Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU
Three in a row for Mike's kids. Nolan addressed defense in free agency, now he needs some new toys for Alex Smith.
12. Washington (from Buffalo) - Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
Finally they address the d-line in the first round.
13. St. Louis - Leon Hall, CB, Michigan
Two years in a row with a first spent on a CB. They're locked down at that position for the next decade now.
14. Carolina - Greg Olsen, TE, Miami
They really would like to nab a QB to groom, but they're just too low for that to happen. Olsen will help free up space for Smith and get that offense back on track.
15. Pittsburgh - Adam Carriker, DE/DT, Nebraska
With the switch to the Tampa-2, d-line is the obvious need. Carriker gives Tomlin a lot of versatility on the line.
16. Green Bay - Marshawn Lynch, RB, Cal
This team still needs an offensive line, but they have literally no running game right now.
17. Jacksonville - Reggie Nelson, S, Fla
The only truly gaping hole on their defense.
18. Washington (from Cincinatti) - Alan Branch, DT, Michigan
This kid's stock has dropped like a rock since January for no apparent reason. The questions about his stress fractures only compound that problem. Everyone thought Washington was done in the first, but the opportunity to lock down half your line in 2 hours just can't be passed up.
19. Tennessee - Robert Meachem, WR, Tennesee
Not that it will help anything. This team is in shambles. No running game, no receivers, no defense, and a crappy QB who just got hit with the Madden curse.
20. New York Giants - Joe Staley, OT, Central Michigan
The kid put together some MONSTER workouts and the Giants love him. Oddly enough, they also have a need at LT.
21. Denver - Paul Posluszny, LB, PSU
With the Al Wilson scam attempt finally over, they have to replace him somehow.
22. Dallas - Levi Brown, OT, PSU
I highly doubt that they'll actually go this route since it's Jerry, but it's where they SHOULD go.
23. Kansas City - Justin Blalock, OT, UT
They've lost a LOT on the o-line the last 2 seasons. If they don't replace them, LJ's going to be pissy by week 5.
24. New England - Chris Houston, CB, Arkansas
They've lost too much in the backfield lately to not address the position.
25. Cincinatti (from New York Jets) - Justin Harrell, DT, Tennessee
The Bengals need a lot of help stopping the run. Had it not been for his injury early in the season, Harrell would be off the board MUCH earlier.
26. Philadelphia - Aaron Ross, CB, UT
An area of need in a position that Reid actually drafts early = easy pick to call.
27. New Orleans - Lawrence Timmons, LB, FSU
A glaring need on the team. They could go CB, but no one really merits being taken here.
28. New England - Ben Grubbs, OG, Auburn
They could look LB here, but Belichick's going to need some sort of a line upgrade to keep his running game solid.
29. Baltimore - Tony Ugoh, OT, Arkansas
A bit of a reach probably, but the team needs to replace Pashos immediately and Ogden in the near future.
30. San Diego - Sidney Rice, WR, USC
Rivers needs some weapons if for no other reason that to free up Gates.
31. Chicago - Troy Edwards, QB, Stanford
This year's Jay Cutler award winner for QB on a crappy team that people think could be good.
32. Indianaoplis - Jon Beason, LB, Miami
The team is obviously still in major need of a run defense and now needs to replace June.

Adrian Peterson is AD, not AP, it stands for "All Day" a nickname his dad gave him when he was a kid.
as a kid that went to school in Oklahoma, i realize that, i just find it to be retarded and most people don't know that so it leads to confusion.
